Vasus Scientific Vendor Listing Policy

            Listings. The Vasus MarketPlace Service allows Vendors to place for sale any item that falls within a Vasus product category listed on the Site. Listings may only include text descriptions, graphics and other content relevant to the sale of the item being listed.

            Restrictions on listings. You agree that you will not:

                        1. list any item that can not be included in a Vasus category;

                        2. post information that is false, inaccurate or misleading;

                        3. post information that is fraudulent or involves the sale of counterfeit, stolen or otherwise illegal items (including the sale of otherwise unrestricted items into countries against which the US has export restrictions) and/or items that infringe the intellectual property rights of third parties;

                        4. list for sale any downloadable software;

                        5. list any item or take any action that could cause Vasus to violate any applicable law, statute, ordinance or regulation,;

                        6. list an item in the wrong category or under the wrong product page;

                        7. list the same item in the same condition more than once (you will have the option to specify multiple quantities of the same product);

                        8. list items that are not available to be shipped immediately (i.e. preorders).

            You agree to indemnify and hold Vasus harmless against any claim with respect to violations on the above rules.

            New Products and Categories. If the item you intend to sell can not be included in the Site's categories, you may recommend that the category be added, as long as that category can be listed as a subcategory to one of the main category (Parent categories) available on the Site.  Vasus does not guarantee that all recommended categories will be added.

            Modifications. You may change the price, image, condition, description, shipping cost, and tax information of a listed item. You agree not to charge unreasonable amounts for shipping, and to charge no more than the prevailing legal rate of sales tax based on the laws applicable to the transaction.

            Questions and Answers. Vasus reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to remove all of your listings if you fail to promptly and accurately reply to questions asked about your listings. All the questions and answers about a listing are considered part of the listing.

            Inclusion of Listings. When a Vendor adds a listing on the Vasus MarketPlace Service, this does not guarantee that the listing will be included on the Site. Vasus may place some listings "on hold".

            Cancellation of listing. Vasus reserves the right to cancel the listing of any item on the Site, for any reason or no reason. In case of such cancellation, Vasus will inform the Vendor that had listed the item through the Vendor-provided email address.

            Non-New Condition. Used or refurbished items (equipment) may only be listed in the appropriate subcategories designated for used items. You must accurately choose the condition that best describes your product when listing it for sale as a used item. Below you will find the conditions and descriptions that may be available for the product you are trying to list:

            All items conditions are in relation to a New item condition defined as an Item in perfect condition, never used, delivered in an unopened original package.

            Refurbished

            It is a New item (as defined above) but it has been refurbished by the manufacturer.

            Like New

            Item has never been used. It looks and functions identical to a New item (as defined above), but for some reason this item does not qualify as New. Item may not come in the original package. The UPC may have been removed from the item.

            Used - Very Good

            Item has been used but it looks and functions as if it was new and has no marks or scratches. All parts, manuals, cables and software are included with the item.

            Used - Good

            Item has been used but it works as if it was new. Product may have minimal cosmetic damage. Some wear and tear but not excessive. Some parts, manuals, cables and/or software may be missing.

            Used - Acceptable

            Item has been used but the most important functions of the item work. Functions that don't work should be described in detail in the description. May have some damage; some components may be missing.

            Not Working

            Item DOES NOT WORK.
